Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be instrumental in our mission to deliver 'Outstanding service with dedication.'

You will provide technical leadership, ensuring the highest standards in our maintenance and operational programs.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and collaborating with the Executive Team, you will be responsible for overseeing critical projects such as the organization’s Maintenance Strategy and managing external audits and inspections; particularly, facilitating the processes for regulatory assessments. You will serve as a deputy to the Maintenance Manager.

Your Contributions:

Strategic Oversight: Shape the future of maintenance and operational processes, supporting the Maintenance Manager, and providing expert guidance to the Executive Team as necessary. Quality Enhancement: Advocate for a culture of continuous improvement, collaborating closely with the Safety and Learning teams. Operational Excellence: Ensure proactive and effective maintenance across all organizational activities.

Proven Expertise: Demonstrated success in implementing improvements in maintenance within healthcare or public sector organizations, and experience at a senior level in a complex, highly regulated environment.

Strategic Insight: Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills, with a history of managing complex projects and change initiatives.

Maintenance Knowledge: Experience in maintenance systems, with a deep understanding of operational excellence.

Regulatory Knowledge: Experience collaborating with independent regulators and managing compliance services.

Innovative Mindset: Research and development of systems to support compliance and regulation, driving continuous quality enhancement.

Essential Criteria

Relevant degree or equivalent qualification. Postgraduate diploma in management or equivalent experience.
