Support Worker - Female Only

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Quarriers Village in Bridge of Weir. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting 7 females with mental health support needs and learning disabilities.

About the Role

This is a part-time position, offering between 16-30 hours per week. You will work closely with the individuals supported, assisting them with daily activities, including cooking, cleaning, and accessing community-based activities. You will also work collaboratively with the wider team to support individuals on days out.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with mental health support needs and learning disabilities in a community-based setting
  • Assist with daily activities, including cooking, cleaning, and accessing community-based activities
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to support individuals on days out
  • Develop and maintain trusting relationships with the individuals supported
  • Adapt to changing circumstances and manage distressed behavior
