About the Role:
Gap Healthcare is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our new children's residential home in Croydon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering the home's Statement of Purpose, managing the team, and providing high-quality care services that support the needs of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the children's residential home, ensuring efficient operation and compliance with relevant legislation, procedures, and policies.
- Act as the Registered Manager for Ofsted, ensuring the home meets regulatory standards.
- Participate in an on-call system, providing support and guidance to staff and residents as needed.
- Ensure adherence to the company's financial and administrative procedures, working within a set budget.
- Liaise with regulatory organizations, ensuring the home is managed in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Recruit, vet, interview, and induct new staff members, ensuring they meet the necessary qualifications and standards.
- Provide support, advice, and coaching to all staff within the home, promoting professional ethics and behavior.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in children's services.
- Thorough understanding of OFSTED compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Level 5 in Health and Social Care - Children Services, or equivalent qualification.
- Valid driver's license and access to a car.
