Job Title: Children's Residential Home Manager

Gap Healthcare is currently recruiting for a new and exciting opportunity on behalf of our client based in Croydon for an experienced Registered Manager for a small children's home. This role is permanent and full-time, with a salary of up to £55,000 per annum (based on experience).

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead our new children's residential home. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering the home's Statement of Purpose and managing the team to achieve the same. You will provide high-quality care services that support the needs of the residents, be an advocate for their well-being, and provide strong, motivational leadership to staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage a Children's Residential Home and ensure the efficient operation of the service in accordance with the relevant legislation, procedures, policies, and the Statement of Purpose for the home.
  2. Be the Registered Manager for Ofsted.
  3. Ensure that the Company's financial and administrative procedures are adhered to and work within a set budget.
  4. Be accountable and take responsibility for liaising with regulatory organisations in relation to the way the home is managed.
  5. Have a thorough understanding of OFSTED compliance.
  6. Hold a Level 5 in Health and Social Care - Children Services.
  7. Be a driver with access to a car.
