About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team at Consegna. As a key player in our IT department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive security roadmap to protect our business and its assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Roadmap Development: Collaborate with our IT Manager to design and execute a comprehensive security strategy, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Incident Response: Liaise with our external SOC provider to mitigate security alerts and incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to our business operations.
  • Security Environment Management: Collaborate with external providers to manage M365 and Intune environments, enhancing security and estate posture.
  • Security Audits and Assessments: Implement recommendations from security audits and assessments, ensuring our security posture remains robust.
  • Security Training and Mentorship: Provide security training and mentorship to the wider IT team on best practices and business-critical functions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT team's capabilities in supporting security objectives.
Requirements
  • Security Experience: Knowledge and practical experience in managing Meraki firewalls, VPNs, Microsoft Tech (such as Defender / Intune etc), Mail Filtering, and network troubleshooting.
  • Microsoft Ecosystem: A key understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, including licensing requirements, Identity Access Management, App Registrations, User Risk Policies, Conditional Access Policies, and Intune.
  • Vulnerability Assessment: Practical experience with vulnerability assessment using Microsoft Defender or other similar tools.
  • Infrastructure Management: Experience in designing and managing mission-critical infrastructure is preferred.
  • Zero Trust Practices: Experience with implementing Zero Trust practices in environments.
  • Industry Certifications: Knowledge of ISO27001, Cyber Essentials (CE), and Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+).
