We are currently working with a Local Authority to assist in the recruitment of a Housing Construction Commissioning & Contracts Manager for a temporary engagement with a strong likelihood of extension. Interested professionals are encouraged to submit their CV for consideration.
Compensation: £493.74 per Day
Position Summary:
- Facilitate improvements in contract oversight with current contractors
- Engage with stakeholders to establish benchmarks for supplier relationship management
- Ensure contractors are held accountable for their contract deliverables
- Assist housing teams in onboarding new contractor resources
- Create specifications and performance indicators for new contracts that align with council objectives
- Lead collaborative efforts across departments and take responsibility for designated workstreams
Required Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CIPS/WorldCC
- Previous experience in commissioning, procurement, or contract oversight
- Understanding of comprehensive commissioning and contract management processes
- Capability to collaborate effectively with individuals at various organizational levels

- Immediate availability
- Eligibility to work in the U.K.
