We are currently working with a Local Authority to assist in the recruitment of a Housing Construction Commissioning & Contracts Manager for a temporary engagement with a strong likelihood of extension. Interested professionals are encouraged to submit their CV for consideration.

Compensation: £493.74 per Day

Position Summary:

  • Facilitate improvements in contract oversight with current contractors
  • Engage with stakeholders to establish benchmarks for supplier relationship management
  • Ensure contractors are held accountable for their contract deliverables
  • Assist housing teams in onboarding new contractor resources
  • Create specifications and performance indicators for new contracts that align with council objectives
  • Lead collaborative efforts across departments and take responsibility for designated workstreams

Required Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as CIPS/WorldCC
  • Previous experience in commissioning, procurement, or contract oversight
  • Understanding of comprehensive commissioning and contract management processes
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with individuals at various organizational levels
