Job Description:

Gist is a leading logistics and supply chain transformation company that partners with M&S to deliver industry-leading services. We are seeking a highly skilled HR People Advisor to join our team in Thornbury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the HR Manager to manage the day-to-day running of the HR department at the site.
  • Manage employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Ensure operational success and development of the HR department.
  • Deliver induction training for new starters and update welcome pack information.
  • Ensure all elements of HR administration are carried out, including starters, leavers, referencing, security and compliance checks.
  • Assist with all aspects of recruitment and selection on site.

Requirements:

  • Experience within a similar HR Advisory/Officer position.
  • CIPD qualified or working towards.
  • Previous experience within the FMCG, logistics or supply chain sector.
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a varied workload.
