Position: Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Quality Assurance representative throughout the product lifecycle to guarantee manufacturability, dependability, and cost efficiency.
  • Assist in Quality Management System (QMS) activities, including Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Material Review Board (MRB) processes, and deviations.
  • Perform audits of external suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to analyze root causes of issues and formulate both immediate and long-term corrective actions.
  • Act as the quality liaison for new product initiatives, support supplier performance assessments, and prioritize interventions to mitigate adverse trends.
  • Identify and execute enhancements to processes and systems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Quality Management system.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

A degree in an Engineering or Science discipline, or equivalent experience in a related area.

Professional Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 standards; familiarity with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR part 820 is advantageous.
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities.
  • Understanding of supplier quality management and continuous improvement methodologies.

Core Competencies:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for producing clear reports and engaging effectively with team members.
  • Ability to operate independently while communicating across various organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for generating reports and conducting data analysis.

Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel may be necessary for supplier engagements and audits.
