Job Title: Lead Asset Management Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Asset Management Engineer to join our team based out of our Global Production Facility in Dumbarton.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and provide design input for the development of new and existing products to improve their performance, operating efficiency, and maintainability.
  • Agree on general approach, priorities, and milestones with Product Engineering Managers.
  • Plan and drive each task/project to complete to specification and on time.
  • Define system test and validation requirements for new product developments.
  • Create and release accurate Bill of Material and part specifications for efficient supply and assembly of design products.
Requirements:
  • Degree in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline with relevant industry experience in the design of industrial machines.
  • Formal training in product development and design.
  • Fully qualified, seasoned professional engineer with sufficient expertise to resolve a variety of issues/problems and make the best commercial use of available technologies and components.
  • Ability to work to tight timescales, under pressure, while maintaining the correct level of quality.
  • Highly proficient in computer-aided 3D modelling, calculation, and simulation to improve design capability.
