Job Title: Wind Turbine Package Manager

Carbon60 is seeking an experienced Wind Turbine Package Manager to lead the development and delivery of the Wind Turbine contract package for an offshore renewables project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a package team including procurement specialists, engineers, and wind analysts to obtain an optimal technical and commercial arrangement that meets the objectives of the contracting strategy for the project.
  • Steer the package through the tender phase and into the negotiation of final contracts to support a positive Final Investment Decision (FID) for the project.
  • Develop and deliver the Wind Turbine contract package for the project, based upon the overall contracting strategy.
  • Work with project leadership team to define the governance arrangements for the package based on the client's Large Capital Project Governance Framework.
  • Manage the commissioning of all Turbine related assets to ensure that the forecast commissioning profile is optimised and availability of assets is maximised prior to the Commercial Operations Date (COD).
  • Evaluate and negotiate Contractor claims, variations, and where required settlement agreements, ensuring the best possible commercial terms are agreed for the project.
Requirements:
  • Experience in complex, large-scale multi-disciplinary project-financed projects.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of multi-disciplined individuals, setting clear goals and objectives and measuring performance against them.
  • Substantial knowledge of commercial drivers for major infrastructure projects.
  • Substantial knowledge of project risk management.
  • Experience of leading package teams on a variety of development projects.
