An exceptional individual is sought to lead the Head of School in Anaesthesia role at NHS England. This role will also focus on whole workforce transformation, developing multi-professional links, and innovative ways of curriculum delivery and workforce well-being strategies. The Head of School will work closely with the Postgraduate Dean to support the development of education provision that reflects changing service models. Key responsibilities include developing an effective network of communication and collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring high standards of education and training, and contributing to workforce planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leadership and education management, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. The role requires a commitment to national vision, policies, and processes for effective educational quality management. The successful candidate will be expected to spend at least 40% of their time working in-person. The Head of School will be responsible for implementing the NHSE Quality Framework and Education and Training Quality Improvement and Performance. They will also oversee the School structure and relevant School meetings within the structure.
