About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Memory Service team at South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist clinical psychology skills to support individuals with dementia and their families.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical services to users of the service, including neuropsychological assessment and intervention.
  • Work collaboratively with non-psychologist colleagues, professionals from other agencies, and carers to provide comprehensive support.
  • Develop and implement psychologically informed interventions to support individuals with dementia and their families.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and support Assistant Psychologists and Doctoral trainees.
Requirements
  • Doctoral qualification in Clinical Psychology.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across the full range of care settings.
  • Ability to work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable
  • Experience of teaching, training, and/or supervision.
  • Experience of working with people in crisis.
  • Knowledge of adult and child protection legislation.
