Who we are looking for

We are in search of a skilled Lead Pricing Strategist to play a pivotal role in our Pricing, Tooling, and Analytics team. This position entails developing advanced pricing frameworks, performing thorough analyses, and delivering actionable insights to enhance our insurance pricing methodologies.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Creating and enhancing pricing frameworks utilizing statistical methodologies and actuarial principles
  • Examining insurance datasets to uncover trends, irregularities, and areas for enhancement
  • Working alongside the Live Pricing team to effectively implement pricing adjustments and oversee daily pricing functions
  • Articulating intricate data concepts and model results to a varied audience of stakeholders
  • Facilitating ongoing enhancements by incorporating new tools and technologies into the pricing workflow

About you

  • You will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
  • You will have demonstrated experience in commercial insurance pricing and analytics
  • You will be proficient in SQL (we utilize Snowflake)
  • You will have familiarity with Python or strong skills in R
  • You will have some exposure to Insurance Pricing tools, such as Akur8 or Emblem and Radar
  • You will have an interest in Data Science & Machine Learning
  • You will be capable of interpreting and deriving conclusions from complex analytical results
  • You will possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • You will have effective project management capabilities and the ability to collaborate across teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Python
  • Experience in motor insurance
  • Some background in Data Science
  • Experience with software development in a data-centric environment
