Electrical Design Engineer Trainee Job Description

As an Electrical Design Engineer Trainee at Galliford Try Group, you will be responsible for assisting the Design Engineers in the production and coordination of outline and detailed Electrical Design Deliverables on combined Process / Mechanical / Electrical schemes in the water industry.

You will:

  1. Coordinate with Electrical Design Engineers and gain hands-on experience.
  2. Support with the preparation of outline and detailed electrical design deliverables.
  3. Ensure design work is completed to agreed programmes, financial budgets, and KPIs.

This role is available for a Summer 2025 start, with the possibility of an earlier start date to suit yourself and the business.

As part of the apprenticeship programme, you will be expected to work in and around the location advertised, with the possibility for travelling to other projects and locations around the UK in the future.

This role is office-based with site travel.
