About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Change Hospitality, a renowned event caterer/agency based in Surrey.

This company is a leading provider of exceptional catering services to some of the UK's most prestigious events, weddings, and corporate parties.

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of the business by securing new venues, expanding into new markets, and managing large-scale accounts.

You will need a strong network within the agency, direct corporates, and Destination Management Companies (DMCs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development:
    • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on introducing the caterer to new venues, new markets, and large-scale corporate clients.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Leverage your existing network of contacts within the event industry to secure meetings and build strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Venue and Client Engagement:
    • Confidently represent the brand, ensuring a personable and professional approach.
  • Event Planning Support:
    • Occasionally assist in the planning and creative development of events, ensuring that all client needs are met, including food, decor, and overall event design.
  • Creative Quotations:
    • Work with clients to provide creative and accurate quotes that align with their vision and budget, particularly for high-budget events requiring unique and innovative solutions.
  • Bonus Scheme:

Requirements
  • Experience:
    • Proven track record in business development within the event industry, preferably with a network of contacts corporate clients, agencies, and DMCs.
