Corus Consultancy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Evening Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will work closely with vulnerable adults with complex support needs, providing tailored support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular key working sessions with clients to develop and implement personalized support plans.
- Produce comprehensive risk assessments and risk management plans to ensure client safety and well-being.
- Identify and report safeguarding concerns, working closely with partner agencies to ensure effective support.
- Promote recovery-focused activities, including social events, exercise programs, and healthy eating initiatives.
- Support clients in accessing suitable housing options and addressing obstacles to move-on.
- Participate in running activities or small groups to meet client needs or as part of a project-wide program.
- Assist clients in accessing education, training, or employment opportunities.
- Experience working with vulnerable adults with complex support needs, including substance use, offending, mental health, and housing issues.
- Working knowledge of supported accommodation, the private rented sector, and other move-on options.
- Demonstrable understanding of Housing and related legislation.
- Experience working with clients experiencing multiple disadvantages, including rough sleeping and homelessness.
- Ability to work effectively with partner agencies and develop contacts and networks across local services.
- Understanding of assessment and risk, planned support, key working, goal setting, and advocacy principles.
- Basic numeracy, literacy, and comprehension skills to input data and use common computer packages and databases.
