FCC Environment is seeking a highly skilled Recruitment and Human Resources Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in supporting the company's HR and recruitment processes.
Key Responsibilities- Support the HR team in ensuring compliance with current legislation and company policies and procedures.
- Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to operational managers and employees.
- Lead the recruitment process, including advertising and sourcing candidates, and ensuring consistency across the country.
- Manage recruitment requisitions, allocate job reference numbers, and liaise with recruiting managers to understand their advertising and recruitment needs.
- Review and update the company's recruitment policy to ensure it meets ongoing business needs.
- Place accurate external job adverts and ensure all jobs are advertised internally through the weekly Vacancy Bulletin.
- Support other HR team members with operational managers on employee-related matters, providing advice and guidance as required.
- Keep a weekly work log of activities undertaken and discuss any major or unusual issues prior to taking action.
- Attend and advise on disciplinary, grievance, appeal, and other meetings as necessary, taking detailed notes.
- Lead on projects related to procurement and tendering for future recruitment solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and work closely with Senior HR Business Partners to ensure consistency in our approach to dealing with arising issues.
- Assist with the upkeep and accuracy of the HR system (SAP) and support the HR Systems Manager as required.
- Support any HR activity or project that adds value to our service delivery.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
