Senior Graphics Software Engineer

Contribute to enhancing the performance of gaming and various applications across a multitude of Arm-based devices. Be part of a pioneering graphics research group and influence the evolution of mobile graphics technology.

This position is situated within the expanding Strategy and Ecosystems division, dedicated to optimizing the developer experience for Graphics and Gaming applications on Arm platforms.

We seek a curious software engineer with a fervor for Computer Graphics, eager to delve into the complete software stack and the foundational hardware and processor architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary duty of the team involves conducting comprehensive research into cutting-edge mobile graphics methodologies, including GPU Driven rendering and global illumination, pinpointing performance constraints, and discovering innovative graphics techniques. The team also evaluates critical workloads from partners and benchmark vendors, implementing enhancements for superior performance and energy efficiency. This role will also engage with our internal Performance Studio tooling team, contributing to the prioritization of tooling features.

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Proficient in C/C++ programming
  • Familiarity with modern graphics APIs
  • Experience in debugging and profiling
  • Effective communication abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Knowledge of rendering techniques and related mathematics
  • Experience with Arm Mali or other GPU architectures
  • Familiarity with game engines
  • Understanding of the mobile software and developer ecosystem
  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies
  • Knowledge of Android or Linux internals
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts
