We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Domestic Violence Advocate Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting our qualified staff in delivering exceptional care to our users.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with users to manage their needs on a caseload basis, ensuring their emotional support and guidance needs are met.
- Work closely with other agencies to help individuals referred to our service, providing a positive outcome.
- Lead a team of IDVA's, manage referrals, and serve as the link person between management and IDVA's.
- Complete administrative duties, conduct community outreach, and collaborate with other charities.
- Previous experience working with victims of domestic abuse or suitable transferable skills.
- Good knowledge of legislation and domestic abuse support strategies.
- Desirable criteria: experience leading a team within a domestic abuse service and an IDVA qualification.
