EHS Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety professional to play a key role in driving continuous improvement and ensuring the working environment is made progressively safer at the Port of Liverpool.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and national regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Lead training sessions on health and safety practices to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
- Investigate incidents and prepare reports to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of EHS policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an EHS managerial role with a strong track record of driving safety improvements.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and promote a culture of safety.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) and a strong understanding of risk management principles.
