Medical Audio Specialist

Work Schedule:
30 hours per week (flexible) across any 4 days from Monday to Friday, with shifts of either 7.5 hours per day or 6 hours per day over 5 days.

Temporary engagement for 3 months, with a potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:
Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative assistance to ensure the effective operation of the Endocrinology team.
Producing day-to-day correspondence and clinical results on behalf of the Consultant, while adhering to departmental correspondence deadlines.

Ensuring the accurate and timely documentation of each patient interaction using relevant IT systems and databases, including tracking case notes and logging outcomes.

Minimizing queries by ensuring all letters are completed promptly for each patient interaction.
Conducting audio typing tasks from digital dictation.

This role may require proof of a vocational level 3 qualification or a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Skills and Experience Required:
Proven expertise in audio typing.
Experience within the NHS is highly advantageous.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Exceptional typing speed and accuracy.
Strong attention to detail.
