Lead Pharmacist for Anaesthetics and Critical Care

We are seeking an experienced and skilled pharmacist to lead our Anaesthetics and Critical Care team at the Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical pharmacy services to patients and influencing senior managers and clinicians within Anaesthetics and Critical Care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Clinical Pharmacy service to Anaesthetics and Critical Care, including responsibility for Critical Care wards, Theatres, Acute and Chronic Pain services, and Resuscitation services.
- Lead and manage the Anaesthetics and Critical Care pharmacy team.
- Develop and implement policies, guidelines, and protocols within Anaesthetics and Critical Care.
- Contribute to the management of the drugs budget for Anaesthetics and Critical Care and implement any drug savings.

- Postgraduate Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice/Clinical Pharmacy.
- Advanced clinical knowledge of Anaesthetics and Critical Care (currently practicing at equivalent of Advanced Stage 1 in Critical Care).
- Excellent leadership, organisational, prioritisation, time management, personal effectiveness, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
