The Roseate Reading Hotel is renowned for its exceptional attention to detail, ensuring a unique and luxurious experience for all guests. Originally serving as Shire Hall for the Berkshire County Council, the building has been meticulously restored, showcasing wide hallways, vaulted ceilings, and intricate cornice mouldings. The restoration of the council chamber, Eden, with its grand fireplace and ornate wood carvings, revives the historic charm of the Shire Hall. As one of Reading's premier hotels, The Roseate Reading combines opulence with a warm, inviting ambiance.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual to join our culinary team as a Culinary Specialist. This role offers the chance to collaborate with our Head Chef on an innovative fine dining concept, providing a pathway for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the preparation and presentation of all dishes on the hotel menus.
- Prepare and serve dishes according to guest preferences and specifications.
- Adhere to portion control guidelines to ensure kitchen profitability.
- Conduct temperature checks on food and storage areas as required.
- Assist in quality control and contribute to menu planning as needed.
