Security Engineers hold a significant and influential position in safeguarding the organization against security threats, with the authority to implement innovative strategies to minimize vulnerabilities. Whether addressing technical security challenges, protecting customer data, or providing consultation on various security matters, you will be empowered to engage and lead across multiple functions.
You will possess a background in systems engineering or administration, coupled with a strong passion for security and a desire to transition into a more security-focused role.
In this position, you will collaborate with experienced application security engineers to identify deficiencies in software engineering practices and propose suitable streamlined security solutions that align with existing workflows.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you can expect to:
Identify deficiencies in software engineering practices and recommend suitable application security tools that integrate seamlessly with development workflows. Utilize agile methodologies, such as Scrum, in your work. Deliver training on core application security products to both security and engineering teams. Create and share accessible wiki content on the application security tools available to the organization. Advocate for security best practices throughout the organization. Assist in developing automation and monitoring solutions to enforce security policies and detect potential threats. Establish safe-by-default guidelines for engineers to follow.Required Qualifications
Core Technical Skills
Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, or Java. Experience in supporting, managing, and building cloud infrastructure, preferably in Azure. Familiarity with at least one continuous integration tool, such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Demonstrated experience in operating and managing Linux distributions, including RHEL, Ubuntu, and CentOS. Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker & Kubernetes). Strong operational and technical troubleshooting skills. Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and common tools, including JIRA, Git, GitHub, and Nexus. Good understanding of architectural and design principles. Knowledge of common Application Security Tools (SCA/SAST/DAST/IaC Security). Awareness of OWASP Top 10, Mitre Top 25, and CVSS frameworks, and their relation to business risk. Soft Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A collaborative team player who is proactive in contributing to group efforts.Benefits
