Job Title: Senior Associate - Family Law Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our Family Law department at QED Legal. As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in expanding and driving the future direction of the department, building on the team's existing success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior lawyers and support staff in the Family Law department.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the department's strategic plan, including business development and marketing initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Manage and develop a team of lawyers and support staff to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in family law legislation and case law, and apply this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Associate or equivalent in a Family Law department.
  • Strong technical expertise in family law, including divorce, arrangements for children, financial planning, and prenuptial agreements.
  • Excellent business development and marketing skills, with a proven track record of generating new business and growing existing client relationships.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of managing and developing a team of lawyers and support staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
