Clyde & Co is seeking a highly determined and experienced Senior Associate to join our team in the Insurance Litigation department. As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in servicing existing clients, growing new business, and maintaining relationships with clients using technical excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Assist on a varied caseload of motor, EL/PL, and indemnity large loss cases.
- Carry out investigations with live defenders and take witness statements, review and interpret medical records and medical reports.
- Identify information requirements and secure required documentation/evidence from claimant representatives.
- Adhere to reporting and reserving requirements in relation to different client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- File Management - including initial reports, updating reports, and correspondence.
- Attend and appear at court and pre-trial meetings, and adhere to court timetables.
- Support the Partners in servicing existing clients, growing new business, and maintaining relationships with clients.
- Draft all legal documents and client advice.
- Deal with interlocutory proceedings, Case Management Conferences (CMCs), and client meetings.
- Support marketing and business development activity with the team and the wider Clyde & Co casualty group.
- Experience of personal injury litigation.
- Ability to adapt well within a demanding, fast-paced team.
- Enjoy being challenged by complex legal issues and expanding your knowledge.
- Focused on delivering a highly professional service to clients, including compliance with client SLAs and Management Information (MI) requirements.
