About the Role
Tetra Tech is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our flood risk and drainage teams. As a Flood Risk Management Consultant, you will play a key role in assisting our clients in managing flood risk challenges across a range of activities, including flood risk solution design, hydraulic modeling, and hydrology assessment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and implementation of flood risk management solutions for clients across various sectors, including private and public sectors.
- Conduct hydraulic modeling and hydrology assessments to identify and mitigate flood risk.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their flood risk management needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues to deliver projects in accordance with best practice and client expectations.
- Participate in internal project management training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Education to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field, such as civil engineering, environmental science, or a related discipline.
- Eligibility for CEng MICE or chartered with CIWEM.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proven ability to deliver work on time and to a high standard.
- Full UK driving license and security clearance to minimum SC level (desirable).
