SEMH Teaching Assistant

We are looking for dedicated individuals to assist children and adolescents with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health challenges.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualized support and facilitating small group activities to enhance student learning
  • Implementing tailored interventions to promote academic progress
  • Collaborating closely with educators and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO)
  • Engaging in a full-time role, Monday to Friday, from 8am to 4pm
  • Competitive daily compensation ranging from £92 to £106

Requirements:

  • Degree in Psychology with a 1st or 2nd class classification
  • Prior experience working with students with Special Educational Needs is advantageous
  • Commitment to the position for the duration of the academic year
  • A sincere interest in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health
  • Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
