JOB OBJECTIVE

To manage the operations of the venue's bars, guaranteeing exceptional customer service, effective inventory management, and streamlined processes. This role presents an exciting opportunity to influence the atmosphere and identity of this charming establishment located in a bustling area. You will collaborate closely with the broader venue team to deliver a distinctive experience to all patrons, whether they are attending a performance, hosting an event, or simply enjoying the bar.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Bar Oversight

  • Overseeing back-office functions while also being an active manager, leading by example.
  • Recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members while creating dynamic staffing schedules.
  • Crafting and updating beverage menus, shaping the bar's character and concept.
  • Monitoring and analyzing financial performance, maintaining profitability to meet business objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Conducting inventory assessments and managing stock orders to minimize waste and enhance margins.
  • Collaborating with the Events Manager to develop beverage packages for private events.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participating in regular company meetings.
  • Contributing to the formulation of venue policies and procedures.
  • Performing any other duties as reasonably required.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Prior experience in bar management.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Confident, enthusiastic, professional, and self-driven.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Capacity to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
  • Ability to identify potential health and safety concerns proactively.
  • Demonstrable understanding of customer service principles.
  • Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach.
