We are seeking an experienced Senior Store Manager to join our client, a well-established charity retailer, in their key store on Portobello Road, London.
As a Senior Store Manager, you will be responsible for maximising income generation and ensuring all targets are met and exceeded. You will work closely with the Area Manager to understand stock requirements and oversee the maintenance and health & safety of the shop.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering annual store financial and contribution targets
- Delivering against store KPI's
- Visual merchandising the store, maximising all opportunities
- Driving new business into the store
- Liaising with the local community
- Recruiting volunteers for the store
Requirements:
- Previous Store Manager experience within charity or retail
- Flexible to cover store opening hours and weekends
- Experience in managing a large team of volunteers, including recruitment and development, as well as excellent customer service and supporter relationship building skills
An understanding of charity retail would be a distinct advantage and a passion for the charity sector is essential.
