Job Description

Role Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for devising and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue and profitability for Responsive Personnel. This will involve developing and executing a cohesive partnership plan to achieve and exceed commercial targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement a sales strategy that maximises revenue and profitability for the company.
  • To manage sales plans and budgets to achieve targets, and to manage relationships with commercial partners to maintain positive relationships.
  • To source new commercial partners at all levels of the company, and to ensure that events are held regularly to generate future income.
  • To be innovative and creative in developing new revenue streams and commercial opportunities.
  • To drive the commercial function to work in tandem with the company's business objectives.
  • To manage and develop the sales team to ensure that match day partnerships are sold out for each fixture.
  • To ensure that all hospitality needs and rooms are set up accordingly with bookings/requirements.

Match Day Duties:

  • To be an integral part of matchdays, ensuring engagement with the company's commercial sponsors and partners to ensure all match day needs are met.

Management and Development:

  • To effectively accomplish all goals and ensure the highest level of service is delivered.
  • To attend networking events as and when required to promote the company's brand.
  • To meet with the team on a regular basis to discuss commercial performance, new initiatives and discuss any feedback/issues.

General Duties and Accountabilities:

  • To always support and drive the team in their aims and objectives.
  • To keep confidential any information gained regarding the company and its personnel.
  • To represent the company in a professional manner.
  • To always maintain a flexible approach to work.
  • To undertake other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time.

Contract and Benefits:

  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours of work: 39 hours per week to include matchdays (Saturday evenings) during on ice season, with a view to reduced hours of 32 hours per week during the off season.
  • Salary: £33,000 - £35,000
