Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Business Development Manager to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to drive sales growth and revenue expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Portfolio Management: Manage and support a portfolio of clients within the drinks industry, aiming to maximize sales revenue and gross margin.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends, and analyze market data to develop effective business strategies.
  • Business Development: Proactively identify and target prospective customers within the drinks market, seeking opportunities to supply a full range of products to your portfolio accounts.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative packaging solutions and provide regular reports on sales performance and business development activities.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Demonstrable experience in business development, preferably within the packaging industry.
  • Skills: Strong market research and analytical skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in using CRM systems.
  • Personal Qualities: A 'hunter' mentality, with confidence in developing new business and door knocking, and a willingness to travel extensively within the south of the country.
