Job Description

We're seeking a talented Brand Manager to join our client, a leading wholesaler of hair and beauty products. This is a fantastic opportunity to help the brand grow and achieve its ambitious targets.

The Role:

This is a classic brand manager role where you'll be responsible for the management, development, and growth of the brand. Working closely with the General Manager, you'll develop strategies for growth across new product development, product design, in-store merchandising, promotions, customer acquisition and retention, digital and printed content, and social media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a 12-month rolling brand calendar
  • Create and manage marketing material with external agencies
  • Oversee the marketing budget, website, and social media accounts
  • Develop and manage brand ambassadors
  • Measure and report on new products launched
  • Conduct monthly sales analysis and insights
  • Visit suppliers and customers, and conduct market research on competitors

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Brand Manager
  • Ability to manage your own workload in a stand-alone marketing role
  • Experience in managing new product development, websites, and social media
  • Background in the beauty industry or other FMCG environments
  • Skills in content generation, social media campaigns, and classic brand management programs
  • Enthusiasm to make a significant impact with a growing brand

What's on Offer:

  • Salary: £40000-50000 (depending on experience) for a 36.5-hour week
  • Hybrid working: 3 days in the office
  • Travel to Glasgow 3-4 times per year
