Job Title: Director of Philanthropy and Community Engagement

We are seeking an exceptional Director of Philanthropy and Community Engagement to join our team at Marymount International School, London. This is a senior leadership role that will play a critical part in shaping the School's fundraising and alumnae relations strategy.

About the Role

The Director of Philanthropy and Community Engagement will be responsible for leading the School's fundraising efforts, developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, and building strong relationships with donors, alumnae, and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successful fundraising, excellent leadership and management skills, and a deep understanding of the importance of philanthropy in supporting the School's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support the School's vision and ambitions.
  • Lead the Development Office team to deliver engagement activities for all current and potential supporters.
  • Maintain and supervise robust gift management systems, including thanking donors and Gift Aid reclamations.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the alumnae and fundraising database.
  • Develop and implement all fundraising policies, procedures, and systems in accordance with charity and fiscal law.
  • Ensure all fundraising processes and policies are executed in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Proven track record of successful fundraising and leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
