Job Summary:

The Power Systems Technician will play a key role in providing technical engineering services with minimal supervision in the areas of mechanical and electrical servicing, repairs, maintenance, supervision, and installation. This position requires a strong understanding of power supplies, HVAC systems, ACBs, generator systems, static UPSs, and static switches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned maintenance and respond to faults in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Support upgrades and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Engage with customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Participate in 24/7 callout response and work as part of a multi-skilled team.

Requirements:

  • Driving license (full UK)
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition Regulations
  • Previous experience in Field Services or completion of an approved electrical apprenticeship in a similar environment.
  • Working knowledge of power supplies, HVAC systems, ACBs, generator systems, static UPSs, static switches
  • Knowledge of Safety, Health and Environment legislation and policies
  • Willingness to travel, some overnight stays may be required
