Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Mitchell Maguire, a specialist Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling a wide range of high-quality manufactured steel & plastic cable management products to M&E contractors, installers, end-users, consultants, and specifiers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell cable management products to M&E contractors, installers, end-users, consultants, and specifiers
  • Stimulate demand and pull orders through the dedicated distribution partner CEF
  • Manage a portfolio of existing accounts and build new business relationships
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and achieve a turnover of circa £3m
  • Work closely with the CEF team to manage groups and drive sales growth

Requirements:

  • Proven external sales experience in the electrical industry
  • Knowledge of switchgear and related electrical products
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Driven and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
