At Vertical Advantage, we're a leading food business with a portfolio of iconic brands. We're seeking a talented Graduate Account Executive to join our commercial team and drive sales growth for our key brands in the retail sector.
This role offers a unique chance for a junior sales professional to take on new challenges and progress their career in FMCG sales. We're open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including customer marketing, category management, and food industry experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute annual sales plans for a portfolio of customers
- Provide sales support to the Account Management team, ensuring seamless execution of commercial strategies
- Implement promotional plans, analyze their effectiveness, and provide actionable insights
- Create category review presentations to inform business decisions
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts to drive business growth
Requirements:
- Business or Marketing degree level or equivalent
- Previous sales or commercial experience, preferably in the FMCG industry
- Highly motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical abilities
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with a keen interest in the food industry
- Proficient in Excel and other relevant IT tools
