As a Careers Adviser, you will play a vital role in supporting 16–18-year-olds who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET) to identify their career ambitions and achieve fulfilling training and employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized career guidance and support to young people, helping them understand their strengths and skills.
- Build meaningful relationships with young people, their parents/carers, and professionals from support services, training providers, and employers.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner organizations to improve outcomes for young people.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of local labor market trends and career opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified in Careers IAG Level 4 or Level 6 and relevant experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work in various community venues across Manchester.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £26,485 - £30,012 per annum.
- A 35-hour working week with great benefits and opportunities for staff training and internal progression.
