We are collaborating with a dynamic transport organization seeking Customer Transport Specialists based in a vibrant location, on a permanent full-time basis. Role Overview
As a member of the transport control team, you will be responsible for scheduling and overseeing transport services for clients in accordance with contractual commitments and established team policies and procedures.

This position is primarily B2B (Business to Business) focused, meaning you will handle inquiries from businesses requiring transport solutions for their passengers or workforce, including airlines, rail companies, and private enterprises. Therefore, the ability to establish rapport and maintain professionalism is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Address all operational customer needs by arranging emergency transport services within pricing agreements for organizations
  • Oversee, monitor, and track all transport services in operation utilizing an internal mapping system
  • Document and escalate any issues that may impact the safe or timely execution of operations, adhering to agreed KPIs
  • Maintain effective communication with Coordinators throughout all operations to ensure necessary actions are implemented or escalated
  • Engage with external agencies and organizations as needed to gather required information (emergency services, Network Rail, DVSA, local authorities, rail user groups, airlines, etc.)
  • Coordinate the provision of stand-by vehicles and drivers and document any changes

Essential Skills

  • Familiarity with railway and road transport regulations (not mandatory)

Working Hours
Due to the nature of the business operating alongside global airline and train companies, a 24-hour system is in place.

The available hours are as follows:
4 nights at 7pm – 7am followed by 4 days off and then repeat
