Job Description

Round Peg Solutions is seeking an experienced Master Production Scheduler to join our team in a challenging role with a global tier 1 aerospace manufacturer.

Role Purpose

As a Master Production Scheduler, you will be responsible for the management of the weekly Master Production Schedule (MPS) to balance demand and supply within available capacity and set Inventory targets. You will lead cross-functional MPS activities and ensure that the MPS is feasible, balanced, and aligned with resource and demonstrated capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate MPS activities beyond the current week time horizon and for the whole MPS horizon.
  • Create and maintain schedules to deliver in line with programmes' requirements while maintaining Inventory targets and optimizing site capacity.
  • Schedule production for products and production lines, understanding all physical and manning constraints.
  • Attend daily meetings as required to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Monitor and apply a PDCA approach with A3 in case of deviation to ensure targets are delivered in a sustainable way.
Requirements
  • APICS CPIM Part 1 certification.
  • Expert level for ERP, MPS, and MRP.
  • Practitioner level for Forecasting & Demand Planning, Daily Scheduling & Execution, Master Data Management, and Inventory Management.
