About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Aspris Children's Services. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in supporting and caring for our young people, while also overseeing the effective implementation of care and independence programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and care for our young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being
  • Oversee the effective implementation of care and independence programs, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained
  • Manage a small team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, families, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • SVQ Level 3 (Children and Young People) or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of working with vulnerable children and young people, preferably in a residential setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Commitment to ongoing training and professional development, with a desire to progress your career in children's services
