About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Domestic Services team as a Deep Clean Domestic Assistant at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high standards of environmental cleanliness and will be trained to carry out deep cleaning following outbreaks of infectious illness, terminal cleaning of vacated isolation rooms, and following maintenance.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out deep cleaning duties, including the use of specialist decontamination equipment such as Hydrogen Peroxide Vapour equipment.
- Work as part of a team to maintain high standards of environmental cleanliness.
- Travel to Community Hospitals and Clinics, with a shared vehicle available for this purpose.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the cleaning industry would be beneficial, but on-the-job training and supervision will be provided.
- The ability to drive is essential for this role.
- Enhanced pay for weekend working and a generous entitlement of paid holiday.
