Position Overview:

Location: Denver, Colorado

Compensation: $110,000-$130,000

The Regional Director of Sales plays a pivotal role in steering sales teams towards success. This position entails offering guidance, conducting training sessions, and crafting strategic initiatives while leveraging brand assets for a collection of hotels. The main objective is to enhance profitability while adhering to both company and brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with sales teams and General Managers to secure both group and corporate transient business opportunities.
  • Oversee sales leads and ensure effective management of online inquiries.
  • Assess events to maximize return on investment.
  • Formulate and execute sales strategies to meet property objectives.
  • Gain insights into hotel operations and analyze performance metrics.
  • Coordinate with Revenue Management to refine pricing strategies.
  • Introduce innovative sales approaches to surpass revenue targets.
  • Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
  • Execute additional tasks as required.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

Key competencies include organizational support, initiative, reliability, accountability, productivity, problem-solving, workplace respect, communication, customer service, financial acumen, and team leadership.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of college-level sales or marketing courses or a Business Degree is preferred. A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a Director of Sales role is necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Capability to interpret financial statements and legal documents.
  • Proficient in Sales Pro and MS Word.

Work Environment:

This role primarily involves indoor work with minimal noise levels.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain seated for extended periods and engage in sales calls.
