As a Principal Motion Control Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading the development of motion control software, enhancing controller performance, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to drive technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model Refinement: Utilise test data to refine model accuracy for both offline simulations and real-time control software, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Collaborative Testing: Work closely with the team to design and execute comprehensive testing strategies, validating software functionality and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Software Commissioning: Oversee the commissioning of simulator software for Factory and Site Acceptance Testing, ensuring timely delivery and meeting the highest standards of quality.
Requirements
  • Expertise in Control Engineering: Possess in-depth knowledge of control engineering principles, with a particular interest in optimal control.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Demonstrate the ability to utilise test data for model refinement and controller performance enhancement, driving data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Tools: Proficient in tools like Matlab, Python, C, Julia, and Simulink, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and workflows.
