The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Motion Control Software Engineer to join our Simulation & Control group. This role involves leading the development of motion control software, enhancing controller performance, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to push the boundaries of our technology.

  • Model Accuracy: Utilize test data to refine model accuracy for both offline simulations and real-time control software.
  • Collaborative Testing: Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless integration and testing of motion control software.
  • Software Commissioning: Oversee the commissioning of simulator software for Factory and Site Acceptance Testing as part of the Simulation & Control group.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in control engineering, with a particular interest in optimal control.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilize test data for model refinement and controller performance enhancement.
  • Proficiency in tools like Matlab, Python, C, Julia, and Simulink.
