Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Support Worker to join our team at Sherburn House in Knaresborough. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with profound learning disabilities and complex physical health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Attend activities and events with individuals, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assist with meal preparation and medication management, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Support individuals with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry, maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in physical or mental health to appropriate staff members, ensuring timely interventions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, demonstrating a commitment to quality and accountability.
- Provide personal care to individuals, including bathing, dressing, and toileting, with dignity and respect.
