Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Walker & Sloan Ltd | Certified B Corp. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the senior quantity surveying team with tasks including cost estimation, procurement, subcontractor management, and preparing financial reports.
  • Assist in ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in a quantity surveying role or a relevant construction-related degree.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data.
  • Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
