Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Walker & Sloan Ltd | Certified B Corp. As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting our senior quantity surveying team with tasks including cost estimation, procurement, subcontractor management, and preparing financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Support the senior quantity surveying team with cost estimation, procurement, and subcontractor management
  • Prepare financial reports and maintain high standards of quality and compliance
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Relevant construction-related degree or experience in a quantity surveying role
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
