About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Room Leader to join our team at Tops Day Nurseries. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging learning activities that meet the needs of each child, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Manage and support a team of childcare workers and educators, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained.
  • Develop and implement individual learning plans to meet the unique needs of each child, working closely with parents and carers to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Ensure a safe and stimulating environment is maintained, with engaging activities and displays that reflect the children's work and progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a culture of excellence, sharing best practices and contributing to the development of our nursery's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Early Years qualification (Level 3 or higher) in childcare, with a strong understanding of child development and learning theories.
  • Experience working in an early years setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of our nursery.
