Role Overview:
As we strive to maintain exceptional service for our clients, we are seeking a skilled AV engineer to join our team at a prestigious client site. This role involves providing technical AV support across various meeting spaces, with significant interaction with senior management and directors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the AV project manager with installations and AV-related projects.
- Serve as the primary support for troubleshooting multimedia systems.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy Cisco codecs and TMS templates.
- Support digital signage and room booking systems.
- Troubleshoot audio issues related to DSPs.
- Provide infrastructure support for international events.
- Contribute to AV engineering support, roadmap planning, and infrastructure design.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency support.
- Proactively identify faults and enhance multimedia capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with network and project teams.
- Recommend strategic solutions for video networking and collaboration technologies.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in Cisco AV technologies and other related systems.
- Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco endpoints.
- Comfortable supporting high-profile global events.
- Extensive knowledge of IP systems.
- Possession of industry-standard certifications (Avixa, Polycom Sound Structure, QSYS, Shure, Crestron, Extron, TMS, Control Hub, Appspace).
- Able to lead the administration of multimedia infrastructure and implement improvements based on observed network performance.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
